Industrial line heater | ATEX gas / dust zones | Ex-D type
The ATEX-certified industrial line electric heater is intended for non-corrosive process media. The product features a thermostat control with a thermal cut-out. The standard versions of the product can be supplied with any electrical power source up to 690 V (600 V CSA). All electrical components of the product are installed in an Ex d flameproof enclosure which permits operation in explosive gas or dust atmospheres (the product is ATEX-certified for Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22).

This industrial line electric heater is designed for heating of non-corrosive process media. With all electrical components sealed in an Ex d flameproof enclosure, the heater is ATEX-certified. The heater is safe to operate in Zone 1, 2, 21, and 22.
The thermal insulation of the heater improves the heat transfer process. The integrated thermostat control provides easy management of the medium temperature. There is a thermal cut-out provided for safety against overtemperature. The heater is available in horizontal and vertical installation versions.
The heating elements are bars available in Incoloy 825, stainless steel or mild steel which house first-class resistive wires. The line heater vessel can withstand up to 10 bars of pressure. The vessel can be made of stainless steel or mild steel.
The product can be supplied with a voltage up to 690 V (600 V CSA) and, depending on the version, output up to 120 kW in heat. The IP66 rating provides protection against ingress of dust particulates and water.
The product overall design and production complies with good engineering practice.
