On 4-5 November, WOLFF GROUP once again participated in the SCHÜTTGUT | SOLIDS fair in Dortmund. Neighbouring markets, as well as the Middle East, are very interesting for us from the business point of view. Our products equal to those manufactured by local producers and our know-how, particularly in the explosive safety area, frequently surpasses the competition. I base my opinion on discussions with potential customers as held at all type fairs and professional conferences. Therefore, we want to increase our sales on those markets and our participation in the Dortmund fair is another step towards the implementation of the plan – Bartosz Wolff, President of the Company Board commented the presence of the WOLFF GROUP at SCHÜTTGUT | SOLIDS fair.
During the fair, WOLFF GROUP presented its comprehensive offer in the field of explosive safety and construction of industrial plants. Our presentation at the booth included an innovative modular filter which is currently undergoing the patent process. The device can be delivered and installed very quickly. Its modular design allows for an immediate extension. Due to its compact size, the filter can be installed in places that are difficult to access. The new design will significantly reduce our costs at each delivery stage – from production, through transport and assembly – commented the President.
WOLFF GROUP also took part in the Conference organised by the Intercontinental Association Explosive Safety Experts Association. – During the Conference, I presented our achievements in the field of explosive safety of coal and biomass grinding systems. The lecture was a kind of case study on the project carried out by WOLFF GROUP together with the BCE Systems company at a power plant belonging to the EDF Group. The system deployed there was a combination of an HRD explosion suppression system with a steam fire extinguishing one. To our knowledge, this is the first such type solution in the world.
Our company is a member of the INDEX Association, hence we organise a similar conference in Poland. Its next edition, called Explosive and Process Safety in Industry, will be held as soon as on 19 and 20 November in Cracow . All INDEX sympathisers are invited to participate – ended Bartosz Wolff.
