Drum dryer
A drum dryer consists of a drum, through which the heating medium flows, a system that doses the product to the drum surface and a scraper. A thin layer of product is distributed on the surface of the rotating drum. During incomplete rotation of the drum the product is dried and removed from the drum surface by the scraper. The design of the dryer prevents the product from contact with the heating medium. Drum dryers are widely used for drying viscous products (sludge drying), sensitive to high temperature or for recovery of solvents and salts from waste streams.
Paddle dryer
The paddle dryer consists of 2 heated shafts with blades of special design and housing. The blade is designed to increase drying capacity. The design of the blades on the rotating shaft provides protection for self-cleaning. The dryer is inclined at a slight angle to transport the product by gravity.
Flaker
The flaker consists of a drum, through which the heating medium flows, a system that doses the product to the drum surface and a scraper. A thin layer of product is distributed on the surface of the rotating drum. During an incomplete rotation of the drum the liquid product solidifies and is removed from the drum surface by the scraper. To prevent premature clotting of the product, the product dosing system is heated. The design of the flaker prevents the product from contact with the heating medium. The closed, tight construction allows the treatment of toxic, easily oxidising, unpleasant and irritating substances or hygroscopic substances.
Fluidal dryers
Fluidized bed dryers are used for drying powders. During blowing with hot air, the bulk material floats to form a fluidized bed. They allow the drying process to be carried out usually in 2 sections at different temperatures and the cooling process in one device in 3 sections.
Drum dryers and granulators
Drum dryers and granulators are used in the production of fertilizers, minerals, granulates and dusty substances, industrial solid waste, limestone, ores, oxides, dolomites, talc, rubber, etc.
