Flaker

The flaker consists of a drum, through which the heating medium flows, a system that doses the product to the drum surface and a scraper. A thin layer of product is distributed on the surface of the rotating drum. During an incomplete rotation of the drum the liquid product solidifies and is removed from the drum surface by the scraper. To prevent premature clotting of the product, the product dosing system is heated. The design of the flaker prevents the product from contact with the heating medium. The closed, tight construction allows the treatment of toxic, easily oxidising, unpleasant and irritating substances or hygroscopic substances.
