Breather Valves
GRUPA WOLFF offers a broad assortment of various products used as a safeguard for non-pressure and low-pressure tanks. The valves protect tanks against damage during filling and emptying processes, while protecting at the same time the environment and the personnel against harmful emission of vapours of the products stored.
The team of engineers of GRUPA WOLFF has a very extensive experience in selecting proper solutions for each application, while taking into consideration all safety requirements.
The typical scope of operation of the equipment offered lies in the range of -800 mbar(g) to as much as 3,5 bar(g) at temperatures from – 196 deg. C to 250 deg. C. However, for demanding applications, the indicated scope of operation is not defined in advance and it can be extended after a careful analysis of all operating parameter of the breathing valve as conducted by the manufacturer.

1. OVER- AND UNDER-PRESSURE BREATHER VALVES
Over- and under-pressure breather valves.
Valves designed only for overpressure or only for underpressure and those combining the two ranges of operation are intended for levelling the over- and underpressure occurred as a result of thermal expansion of the stored product or in consequence of filling and emptying processes in storage tanks.
Over- and under-pressure breather valves with a flame breaker.
Our offer includes a broad assortment of flame breakers operating in tandem with MARVAC over- and underpressure breathing valves.

2. PILOT CONTROLLED BLEED VALVES
They are applied wherever a precise action point during vapour inspiration is required in the case when operating parameters are close to the computational values and in the cases when a problematic counterpressure can occur

3. PRESSURE REDUCING VALVES FOR INERTIZATION
Intended for generating an inert gas cushion in tanks used for storing hazardous and harmful chemical substances and for limiting product evaporation.

4. DEPRESSURISATION VALVES AND INSPECTION / PROCESS MANHOLES
They are used as a protection of tanks against the overpressure occurred as a result of product evaporation caused by an external heat source (fire) and as inspection manholes providing access to the tank inside during inspections.
Process manholes enable collection of samples and measurement of the level of the product stored.
